Contains family histories, community historie (The cemetery data covers all of Curry County, and most of Quay, Roosevelt, and DeBaca Counties and several West Texas cemeteries: Parmer County: Bovina, Oklahoma Lane, and Farwell. In Bailey County, Texas: West Camp Cemetery. The DeBaca County cemeteries include the Old Military Cemetery at Old Fort Sumner, site of Billy the Kid's grave.)

This is a very good book for the genealogist searching for family roots in Quay county. I do not know if there are any available now (1998).
